Composition Masterclass 2019/20
In cooperation with Hochschule für Musik Basel/FHNW, Künstlerhaus Boswil is pleased to announce the upcoming Masterclasses in Composition and Interpretation in Boswil/Aargau.
For the workshops and masterclasses of ‘FLOW’ we are looking for composers, sound artists or creating performers who will develop a new work in close collaboration with the participating musicians.
FLOW refers to a mode of collaboration and creation in which ideas, energy and commitment flows freely back and forth between all involved people. FLOW also refers to our interest in giving a stage to work that consciously flows outside the confinements of traditional concert music, by, for example, integrating other media, integrating improvisational elements, creating special performative situations, or creating installative works with which performers interact.
The masterclass is held in two phases and comprises workshops, seminars, evening talks , working sessions with the performers and individual lessons.
