Conducting Masterclass / Meisterkurs Dirigieren 2019

With Maestro Douglas Bostock and argovia philharmonic
In April 2019 the internationally renowned conductor Douglas Bostock will hold the 10th conducting masterclass at Künstlerhaus Boswil. The masterclass is a cooperation between the argovia philharmonic and Künstlerhaus Boswil.
It is designed for advanced students of conducting and for young conductors who have concluded their professional training, wishing to extend their knowledge and experience in conducting and the interpretation of works of the symphonic repertoire under the expert guidance of Maestro Bostock. Age limit: 40.
On the first two days professional répétiteurs (two pianos) will play for the class (4 x 3 hours). On the last three days the argovia philharmonic will play (4 x 3 hours).
The masterclass will be concluded with a final rehearsal (3 hours) and a public concert with the argovia philharmonic conducted by the masterclass students.

The choice of the students to perform in the final concert is made by Maestro Douglas Bostock.
Active participants: CHF 980.-, including full board and lodging at Künstlerhaus Boswil. Early arrival on Tuesday, 2nd April: additional CHF 65.-.
Registration fee for active participants: CHF 200.- (deducted from course fee)
Auditors: CHF 70.- per day or CHF 250.- for the complete masterclass (5 days), including lunch at the Künstlerhaus. Fees may be paid either in advance or on the day of attendance
